Monday Got up this morning and just took my time getting ready. Actually, I
got up about 3 am and had so much time I even watched an up channel movie and it
was really good. I had planned to go South to Montauk State Park and then on
down to am-Quarry COE in Arkansas but the forecast turned cold and with some
rain on ednesday...half way through the trip, so I decided to just go closer and
come back fort the Bible class on Wednesday, but Pastor sent out an email saying
it was being delayed until next week. So now I am not sure what I will be
doing....Oh well, still enjoying it...I'll just wait to see what the weather
does but so far it has been colder than forecast. Still had a beautiful sunset
Ended up finding a nice spot that was open enough to receive a Dish signal. After registering I discovered that I was in a handicap site.....Oh well....The only other campers here are the hosts who left the next day, and 3 guys camping in tents.
1/5Had a pretty good night last night....actually was in bed from 7:30 pm to about 5:30 this morning. Didn't really sleep all that time but snuggling and warm was not in any hurry. Sure is nice to be able to reach up and increase the thermostat so that when I did get up, it was nice and warm to get dressed. Didn't really have supper last night since I had a long lunch. Fixed some french toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs this morning over the fire. Sure was nice and really good.

Temps got down to 28 early this morning but warmed up good to 52 this afternoon. Had a pretty heavy frost on everything but nice in the RV. Since it was warming up quickly, I took a hike this morning on a trail that I thought would take me down to the Big River, but didn't . The area is quite hilly, rocky, and wet this morning so had to take it really slow and easy. I had my hiking stick which really helped a lot going down the steep, rocky path. Never did get to the river and the path ended up crossing the road that goes to the campground. The thought of climbing the rocky, wet hill going back on the path made me decide to just take the road back....glad I did as I was worn out by the time I got back...just pushing too hard looking for the river. After resting fixed a hot dog over a fire and then went for a bike ride. That wore me out too so decided to just enjoy God's creation and the sun from a chair....my recliner makes it great.
Spent some time on chat with Dish because I did not get the full schedule on the guide. After going through a lot of gyrations we got it working. I asked and he said that when I get to a new camping spot to leave it on the 'standby screen' for about 20 minutes to give it time to download the guide. That is the initial screen that you have to press the 'select' button to get into the live programming. FYI: to get to the standby screen just push/hold the power button --top left on remote.

Slept great until got up to pee and then couldn't get back to sleep. Was thinking about just getting up but turned on music and before I knew it, I had fallen asleep and 2 hours had passed. Temps only got down to 32...not too bad.....still feel like need to go camping only when high temps are above 45.
Yesterday was pretty nice so the trip has been good although a little cooler than I would like. Fixed hamburgers last night on the fire with corn on cob....really good.
Because temps are getting a lot colder tomorrow I am going to head home today.....keeping with the no rush attitude. Also decided to take the dishes home to pput into the dishwasher....no hot water. Went out last night for a fire and that was really nice.
Did a test on the cell booster and found out that it really does help with the streaming on internet.
Fixed eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast....really good. Over the fire, of course. Now getting ready to take off for home. Going to look at sleeping on the couch as a different way because of getting in and out of the bunk bed. Change is good....right?
